Your support will help fund my training in the build-up to the Central American Championships in June where I aim to win Gold for Belize
I have been invited to compete in the Multistars Combined Events Meeting in Florence in May. An extra £200 would help cover the travel expenses for me to get to Italy and participate in this event in preparation for the Central American Championships.
I travel approximately 330 miles a week to see my two coaches for training.
Your support will allow me to continue to travel to see my coaches in the build-up to the Central American Championships in June where I will return as reigning champion in the Heptathlon, also with the aim of challenging the Central American Heptathlon Record.
Your support will also allow me to purchase training equipment for use at home, when my coaches are not available or if I cannot make it to see them.
My Dad was born in Belize and I am a Dual National - British/Belizean. In 2010 I was selected to be part of the Belize National Athletics Team.
I have since travelled the world representing Belize, won medals and I currently hold the National record for the Heptathlon and Javelin
I participated in all sports at school but at the age of 15 decided to concentrate on athletics.
I wouldn't be where I am today without my parents. They have funded all my travel, equipment and competition entry and supported me in everything I have done going through all the ups and downs with me.
In 2012 following lack of improvements and injuries I started to become frustrated and lost some love for the sport so decided to make some changes. I moved back home and contacted my now current coaches. It was the best decision I ever made.
I now love athletics more than I ever have. In the 2014 season I saw improvements in 6 out of the 7 individual Heptathlon events and further improved my Heptathlon National Record to 4684.
My main aim for 2015 is to break 5000 points in the Heptathlon and I believe this is well within my capabilities. I also aim to win Gold at the Central American Championships and in the process attempt to break the Central American Record.
I am a member of Ipswich Harriers Athletics Club and compete for them whenever I am available in Local league meetings. I also work part time as a gym instructor for Spirit Health Club to earn some money to support my parents in funding my athletics career.
The 2015 indoor season has already seen me set new personal bests in Shot Put, 60m and 60m Hurdles, with encouraging performances in High Jump and Long Jump too. I am currently working towards the outdoor season which begins towards the end of April.
The money raised would help me to afford to continue to visit my coaches each week in the build-up to the Central American Championships.
After an incredible 2014 season I hope to build on my performances more and continue to put Belize on the athletics world map.
As well as the Central American Championships I aim to represent Belize at the Pan American Games and the North American, Central American and Caribbean Championships in 2015.
My ultimate dream is to represent Belize at the Olympic Games, whether it is Rio 2016 or Tokyo 2020, I will continue to work hard and your support could help my dream to come true.
