Sports - Archery

I am a successful and ambitious young archer looking towards a Gold Medal at the 2020 Olympic Games

Goal

The funding will allow me to pay for the coaching with my Archery GB coach and the travelling needed to enable me to reach the podium in 2020.

Background

I started archery aged just 8 years old after doing a Have A Go stand at a Classic Car festival. Since then I have not looked back.

Current Position

At 9 yrs old I achieved a National ranking of 6th in the UK Ladies U12 Recurve category and 47th overall for ages up to U18 in the whole of the UK. Since then I am on the Archery GB Talent Development Programme held once every 3 months at Lilleshall National Sport Centre. Here I am coached along the guidelines Archery GB set me to give me the foundations to move towards the podium in 2020.

I have achieved my Junior Master Bowman Award which only 4% of the country achieve and now look toward my Grand Master Bowman in the coming years.

The Future

My goals are to continue training day in day out to get that Olympic gold medal.

To get onto the Archery GB Academy and progress forward.

Regularly participate in Regional and National competitions for which I have won many medals to date. The funding to pay for my coaching will allow me to develop my skills and turn the silver medals into gold medals. We may also take a few National records along the way!
